SaD: Man Arrested For Beating Wife To Death In Katsina

A 42-year-old man in Katsina State, Musa Mustapha, has been arrested and charged before a Senior Magistrate's Court for allegedly beating is wife to death during a squabble.

The police prosecutor in the case, Inspector Hashimu Musa, informed the court that Mustapha committed the act on march 17, 2015, when he had a misunderstanding with his 30-year-old wife, Amina, and in a fit of anger, beat the woman till she gave up the ghost.

Musa said that one Aliyu Sani, reported the case to the Central Police Station, Katsina.

According to Musa, Amina sustained serious injuries on her neck, back and stomach and was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment but that she died a day after her admission in the hospital.
