Executive Governor of Cross River State, The entire students of Cross River State University of Technology have been pushed home for more than four months due to the internal ongoing ASUU strike which till now you have not resolved.
We are bittered because the future of our students are in shamble as there is no hope of what tomorrow holds in package for their Education,the students are now facing a double trouble by staying home for over four months now without any positive sign.
Sir,have we commit any crime as a state to deserve this from your leadership?
If your children are in this school will this strike last a week?
My letter was pending not to contradict the political business of the state but the state mandellas like me must talk for total liberation; I was mute for months because of this pending limitation
The leadership of Cross River concerned citizens and the
institution's (SUG) respectively
have waited for response of the State Government under your watch
to meet a suitable negotiation with the
striking lecturers under (ASUU Cross River State University of Technology
chapter) but all proved futile.
At this stage, we the students, stakeholders and concerned citizens of Cross River state are appealing to your Excellency, Governor IMOKE and his entire cabinet to solve this problem, because With the actions of the State. Government; it can be said that they don't have the interest of education and students at heart.
But we the liberation tongues won't let our future be trampled on, We thereby give the State Government. seven (7)days ultimatum to meet our demands and needs to resolve and call off the strike.
And in failure to meet and resolve the strike, we will troop out in our thousands and will massively fill the streets of Calabar till our problem is solved.
Your Excellency, It's our prayer that your administration should not witness such. but your actions and inaction is a threat to our future.
We will remain calm and law abiding as. we await your leadership role in saving our Education.
