Nigeria's contingent to the ongoing All Africa Games in Congo Brazzaville have chalked up a massive forty-one medals as at Sunday, September 13.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), 13 gold, 21 silver and 17 bronze medals had been won by the Nigerians at the quadrennial competition as at the time of filing this report.
While the boxing team already had four gold, and two silver medals, cycling also provided gold in the 25km race and silver in the road race, 62.5km.
In other events, the team also had eight gold, 18 silver and 11 bronze medals, among other medals won in various team events
The ongoing AAG is scheduled to come to an end this weekend and Nigeria will be looking forward to erasing the memory of her IAAF Championships disaster with major wins in the Athletics event of the Championship.
