Justice Danladi Umar of the CCT has adjourned the commencement of Senate President Bukola Saraki's trial for false asset declaration till November 5 on the grounds that the tribunal would await the ruling of a Court of Appeal, where the senator is contesting the power of the CCT to try him.



But senior lawyers who spoke on the propriety of the adjournment of the trial of Saraki, by the Code of Conduct Tribunal could not reach a consensus. See all the photos from Saraki's trial below:
