In our defenseless state, three of our members were shot dead, while about twenty others sustained injuries. Okay,<br>then it is the same with us. We are not selling De<br>Gea. It's the same."<br>Van Gaal revealed that defender Phil Jones, who is<br>suffering from mild thrombosis, will sit out<br>United's next three games.<br>The England international is back in training but<br>will not face Newcastle, Club Brugge or Swansea.<br>"He is getting better," Van Gaal added. "He is<br>running now on the pitch but he shall not be fit<br>enough. [He will come back] after the<br>international break, I hope, because it's also a<br>process. I am saying too much now."<br>United are yet to sign a centre-back this summer<br>but Van Gaal, who had a bid for Real Madrid's<br>Sergio Ramos rejected, is adamant he has a<br>balanced squad with two players in every<br>position.<br>When fit, Jones will be an alternative to Chris<br>Smalling while Marcos Rojo and Daley Blind are<br>two left-footers who can play in the centre of<br>defence.<br>"You can see my selection and you can see that<br>for every position a double, so we don't have to<br>change but when we can improve we shall do<br>that, but our way," he added.<br>United have only conceded one goal in their first<br>three games of the season and Van Gaal believes<br>they have proved their critics wrong.<br>"You are writing: 'You have no defence, you are<br>not good enough,'" he said.<br>Van Gaal has been particularly happy with<br>Smalling, explaining: "He makes steps, I have to<br>admit. I can see it and you can see it. That's<br>fantastic."<br>But he believes the England international can<br>improve when bringing the ball out of defence,<br>saying: "He could do better. For a manager you<br>always want more, but he makes steps in that,<br>particularly in that aspect of football because in<br>defending, he was always the best."

Ado Isa, Media Coordinator of JTF, in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. He said the raids were conducted within 10 days.<br /><br><br /><br>Isa said that troops deployed to <br /><br>Oka pipeline in Ikpoba Okha Local Government Area of Edo impounded an illegal oil bunkering truck with registration number EDO BEN 117 ZN.<br /><br><br /><br>He said that the truck loaded with 16 plastic tanks of 1500 litres capacity was siphoning illegally refined Automotive Gas Oil (AGO) at the time of arrest.<br /><br><br /><br>The JTF spokesman said the products estimated to be about 24,000 litres were suspected to have been illegally siphoned from the NNPC pipeline.<br /><br><br /><br>He added that some of the vandals fled prior to the arrival of the troops while the truck was in the custody of the JTF for further investigation.<br /><br><br /><br>He said some of the arrested were made at Ughelli-Warri and Orerokpe Community in Okpe and Ughelli North Local Government Areas of Delta.

He phoned<br>me a few times and said he needed me to make<br>the team stronger.<br>"He has won titles wherever he has been. I am<br>really looking forward to playing under him and<br>hopefully winning more titles.<br>"I spoke to Cesc. We are very good friends. I knew<br>I would feel at home here and that was one of the<br>main reasons why I decided to join.<br>"He's a great player, he's got brilliant vision and<br>he links up really well with the other attacking<br>players. I know we work well together on the<br>pitch so I can't wait to play with him again.<br>"I have also played with Diego Costa and Cesar<br>Azpilicueta before, for the national team, so I feel<br>very comfortable here."<br>Pedro had been a target for United throughout<br>the summer, with the club's executive vice<br>chairman Ed Woodward flying to Catalonia on<br>Monday in an attempt to seal a deal for the<br>player.<br>But things changed rapidly on Wednesday as it<br>emerged that United boss Louis van Gaal had<br>withdrawn his interest while Chelsea were moving<br>to steal a march on their rivals.<br>It was reminiscent of the deal two years ago<br>which saw Willian on the verge of signing for<br>Tottenham before Chelsea swooped for the<br>Brazilian.<br>Mourinho has acted quickly and decisively in the<br>transfer market after Chelsea endured their worst<br>start to a season in 17 years.<br>Shortly after their 3-0 defeat at Manchester City,<br>Chelsea signed left-back Baba Rahman from<br>Augsburg for £21m, and Pedro's arrival gives<br>Mourinho's side fresh attacking intent.<br>The Blues also hope to conclude the signing of<br>Everton defender John Stones before the transfer<br>window shuts on Sept. 1, although the Toffees<br>are sticking firm and determined to hold on to the<br>England international.<br>Pedro's arrival could have repercussions for Juan<br>Cuadrado, who has disappointed since his<br>January arrival from Fiorentina, or Victor Moses,<br>who is back at Chelsea after spending last season<br>on loan at Stoke.<br>Oscar and Willian are others who could find<br>themselves in need of justifying their places,<br>although Mourinho will be less inclined to lose the<br>Brazilian pair.<br>Very happy, I'm already Blue! "Sometimes I play<br>on the right, sometimes on the left, but wherever<br>I play I will give my best.<br>"I am very fast. I do everything possible to win. I<br>have helped Barcelona win titles and I want to do<br>exactly the same thing at Chelsea, because<br>ultimately we are all here to win things.<br>"It's a new challenge and I can't wait to get<br>going.
