All Progressives Congress, APC, Warri Chapter, Warri, Delta State, yesterday, admonished all members of the party on the need to put to rest any doubt about the support enjoyed by the State Executive Council, led by Prophet Jones Erue, adding, that the "support, especially from Warri South Local Government Area, is huge, unflinching and enduring."
In a statement by Prince Valentine Egbe, Chairman, APC Warri council chapter, the members reiterated their confidence in the leadership of Olorogun O'tega Emerho, Prophet Jones Erue and the entire state executive of the party.
They warned that they would "not tolerate any form of over ambition and importation of distasteful behaviour and disposition which some of these persons might have imbibed in the party from which they have defected," adding that they were not oblivious of the potentials that the newcomers to the party might possess.
The statement added that it had become necessary because it appears that some of the newcomers appear not to understand that money was not everything but content and commitment, insisting that in APC unlike other political parties "we have a very firm system of reward and sanction. We praise those who have performed and sanction those who have erred.
"All newcomers must return to their respective units and Wards for proper recognition and orientation to avoid the negative consequences. We have in recent times seen some newcomers showing disregard for the structure of the party. We shall work together with the leadership of the party to ensure that such insubordination is treated in accordance with the relevant provisions of the constitution of our party," the statement said.
