Minority Leader, Godswill Akpabio, has been
kicked out of the Senate. Akpabio is a PDP
Senator representing Akwa Ibom and is a former
two term governor.
The Federal Court of Appeal stated that several
violations to the Electoral Act during the
senatorial election between Akpabio and the APC
candidate Inibehe Okori informed their ruling.
The Court of Appeal has thus ordered a rerun
election in the senatorial district in 90 days.
