Remember when we suggested the things you could do to raise money for the iPhone 7? Even we didn’t imagine the lengths that two Indians guys were willing to go.
In a dramatic hijack, the two men waylaid a truck carrying 950 pieces of the newly released smartphone by throwing chili pepper powder at the driver.
The driver of the truck later told the police he thought it was a prank by some random kids.
But when he parked to rinse his face, two men climbed into the truck, threatening him with knives. The two robbers then transferred their booty into another van and left the driver stranded on a deserted road.
Unfortunately for them, they were apprehended by the police less than 24 hours later and all the phones were recovered.
It turned out they were former drivers at the trucking company and were fired just two weeks before the incident.
Chili pepper though? We’re impressed.
