Welcome to Instagram, Kanye West!

While we weren’t looking for a minute, Yeezy joined the popular social network on Saturday, and then posted his first picture on his brand new, verified account on Sunday – but is this all getting at something MUCH bigger?!

After keeping off the social network the last few years; at least that’s what this 2013 tweet read,

Yeezy racked up hundreds of thousands of new followers in the last few hours after joining up officially.

And then he posted his first picture (below), with no caption:

It may not say much, but that’s a memorable image — does it have anything to do with any upcoming projects or what?

As at the time of this report, Kanye currently has a total number of 841,000 followers – and as you already know him on Twitter, he’s not following anyone here too.

While ‘Ye might want to know a thing or two on how the app works, his wife Kim will just be all he needs right now – she’s the queen of Instagram after all.
