Dupe and Ojo were two strangers posted to Ebonyi State as National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members. They met by chance during an orientation exercise in their platoon. They exchanged numbers, got talking and the rest is history.

Their mutual friend, K-Meks who was the MC of their wedding was the one who announced it on social media. The wedding took place on September 10 at Women Development Centre, Abakaliki.
The wedding guests included their friends, family and of course, other Ebonyi State corp members who they befriended during their service year.
K- Meks narrated their story on Facebook saying: “When we arrived the NYSC Orientation Camp at Old MacGregor College, Afikpo Ebonyi State, Nigeria On 28th October 2015.”
“We all came with the intention of serving our great nation, Nigeria. Hence we went about the rigorous activities of the camp, that lasted for full 21days… But something happened!!”
“Two corps members from my platoon (Platoon 2) actually became friends… then became close friends… and after the camp… decided to move a step further by going into an intimate relationship.”
